Is there a reason that some people wear overalls with one strap left unfastened?

As in, do they just like wearing overalls that way, or is there an actual reason to leave one strap unfastened?

From what i can tell it’s just peoples preference. Some wear one strap and some wear no straps. Its all preference. Personally i only wear overalls and wear both straps.

Especially when sleeping as I always sleep in dickies overalls
