This is a Asian thing ...

Lol. My friend's mum made him wear his overalls backwards a few times because he wouldn't stop undoing the buckles.

There is a solution for that. Just use different locks ;-)

>> No.5166

Wow. I never thought that overalls with lockable buckles really exist. I sometimes tried to image what it would be like when my buckles were locked, but I never thought that it was even possible.

>> No.5167

Where can these overalls be found?

>> No.5168

I think they are custom made with mental hospital locks to prevent that inmates strip.

>> No.5170

Why did your friend keep undoing the buckles on his overalls? Did he like to wear both straps fastened?

>> No.5171

We both wore our overalls correctly buckled with bib up and both straps fastened. I think he didn't mind his overalls at all and it was just his fingers getting busy on the buckles.

>> No.5172

I see. So he kept playing with his overalls buckles. (Unfastening the buckle from the bib... then fastening the buckle to the bib... then unfastening the buckle from the bib again).

I'm sure that drove his mom crazy!

>> No.5173

Right. And when he didn't stop doing that after she warned him she put his overalls on him backwards.
She also didn't allow playing with the buckles and doing continues adjustments.

I love the "clicking" sound that the buckles make when you hook the straps to the bib! It sounds so awesome!

Ralf, I hope you still enjoy overalls. Do you still wear your bibs? What brand of overalls did you and your friend wear? Thank you for sharing...

>> No.5261

Yes, I also love the sound of the buckles and the feeling when both straps are fastened and snug. I still wear overalls occasionally.

That's awesome! I like searching for photos of people who wear their overalls with both straps fastened and snug. If the top of the bib isn't very close to the bottom of the shirt collar, that usually indicates that the person has their straps adjusted very loosely. Snugly adjusted straps are better because the bib doesn't "tent" or flop around at the sides when you are walking around. Please correct me if I am wrong...

I agree! Snug overalls are best.

>> No.5271

Yes, and I also like the feeling when my overalls are hugging me tightly with the straps securly and tightly fastened to the bib.

>> No.5279

I am wearing a pair of Dickies overalls. I am about 178 cm in height. In order for me to have a snug fit, I need to slide the metal adjusters on the straps back until the adjusters are resting on the back of my shoulders. The bottom of the bib is even with my belly button and the top of the bib is even with the bottom on my neck.

It may seem strange to some people, but that's how I prefer to wear my overalls.

>> No.5287

It is not weird or strange. I wear my overalls exactly the same as you. I think that is how overalls should be worn. The bottom/waist of the overalls above the belly button and the bib touching the neck. Usually this means the adjusters of the overalls must be all the way on your back. Dickies overalls have long crotch so they can be worn very high.
