I am considering taking several photos of myself in overalls, to start a gallery. What kind of poses would look good and which color of shirt should I wear? Lastly, in what ways should I wear my overalls in the pictures? (Like, should I take some of the pictures with one or both of the straps undone or bib down?)

That's cool! I like how the front of the bib looks, but I don't like how the back of the overalls look. I like the more traditional look of the overalls back.

Yes, I also love the sound of the buckles and the feeling when both straps are fastened and snug. I still wear overalls occasionally.

That's awesome! I like searching for photos of people who wear their overalls with both straps fastened and snug. If the top of the bib isn't very close to the bottom of the shirt collar, that usually indicates that the person has their straps adjusted very loosely. Snugly adjusted straps are better because the bib doesn't "tent" or flop around at the sides when you are walking around. Please correct me if I am wrong...

Yes, and I also like the feeling when my overalls are hugging me tightly with the straps securly and tightly fastened to the bib.

I am wearing a pair of Dickies overalls. I am about 178 cm in height. In order for me to have a snug fit, I need to slide the metal adjusters on the straps back until the adjusters are resting on the back of my shoulders. The bottom of the bib is even with my belly button and the top of the bib is even with the bottom on my neck.

It may seem strange to some people, but that's how I prefer to wear my overalls.

It is not weird or strange. I wear my overalls exactly the same as you. I think that is how overalls should be worn. The bottom/waist of the overalls above the belly button and the bib touching the neck. Usually this means the adjusters of the overalls must be all the way on your back. Dickies overalls have long crotch so they can be worn very high.

That y’all get brought home home in the back seat of the old Crown Victoria wearing the stylish chrome bracelets behind your back........Unless of course you’re into that kind of thing and I’m well aware of a few freaky pervy skater boys and skater girls that actually do enjoy such ( that’s a story for another forum though )!

Back when I was in grade school, a lot of girls also wore overalls. Some girls wore overalls with cheaply made buckles that would come undone if the person shrugged their shoulders or walked around. I felt tempted to tap the person on the shoulder and say, "Hey, your strap just came undone", but I was too embarrassed to do that. I would watch the person to see how long it would take them to notice that their strap came undone. Then I would watch as they buckled the strap back to the bib. I don't know why, but for some reason I found that fascinating.

...When I was young, I went to a day camp while school was out for the summer. One day, I saw another camper that was wearing overalls, but one of his straps was all twisted up. Feeling a little bit braver, I got their attention and said, "Hey, dude I think your strap is all twisted around. Want me to help you fix it."

"Sure," the camper said.

I unfastened the twisted strap from the bib, un-twisted it so that is was straight and then re-attached it to the bib.

The camper was thankful that I had noticed and let him know what was going on. I was glad that I was able to help out.
